Leonardo da Vinci

Leonardo da Vinci (April 15, 1452 – May 2, 1519, Old Style) was an Italian Renaissance painter, sculptor,architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer,inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer whose genius represents  the Renaissance humanist ideal. 
Leonardo has often been described as the archetype of the Renaissance Man.
 He is widely considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time and perhaps the most diversely talented person ever to have lived.

Edgard Allan Poe

 Edgar Allan Poe (born, January 19, 1809 – October 7, 1849) was an American author, poet, editor and literary critic, considered part of the American Romantic Movement. Best known for his tales of mystery , Poe was one of the earliest American practitioners of the short story and is considered the inventor of the detective fiction genre.

Using sports with play, go and do

When talking about sports we use the verbs do, play and go depending on the type of sport.
How do you know when to use to do, go or play when you talk about sports?:
                     *  play with ball games
                     *  do + indoor sports, martial arts and other sports
                     *  go + sports ending in -ing
